Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and GetG Technology Private Limited (Get Grahak), registered office [company address] ("we", "us"), for your use of Laneway: the website, the app, the hosted client portals, embeds, the API and the laneway command-line tool (together, "the Service").

If you accept these terms for a company, you confirm you have authority to bind it, and "you" means that company.

1. Your account

• You need to be 18 or older and give accurate details.
• Sign-in is by one-time code to your email or WhatsApp. Keep access to those secure; you are responsible for activity in your account.
• Each workspace has an owner who controls its members, plan and data. People you invite act on your behalf.

2. Free trial and plans

• Every new workspace gets a 14-day free trial with no card. When it ends unpaid, the workspace becomes read-only: everything stays visible and exportable for 90 days, then it is deleted.
• Paid plans are billed yearly in advance, in Indian rupees, plus GST at the applicable rate. Prices and plan limits are shown on our Pricing page.
• Limits (projects, seats, storage, AI credits and so on) are enforced by the Service. Going down a plan takes effect at renewal; nothing is deleted, but you can't add more of something until you are under the new limit.
• You can upgrade at any time and pay the difference for the remaining days.

3. Payment and renewal

Payments are taken by Razorpay. A plan renews only when you pay for the next year, unless you have turned on automatic renewal. If a renewal isn't paid, you get 7 days' grace with full access, then the workspace becomes read-only. Refunds follow our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

4. Your content

• You own everything you and your workspace put into the Service ("Your Content"). You give us permission to host, copy, process and display it only to run the Service for you, including sending it to the providers listed in our Privacy Policy.
• You are responsible for having the right to upload Your Content and to invite the people you invite, including your clients.
• You can export Your Content at any time, including while read-only.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• break the law, infringe anyone's rights, or upload content that is unlawful under Rule 3 of the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021
• send spam, or use embeds or portals to collect data from people without telling them
• try to reach another workspace's data, probe or overload the Service, or get round its limits or security
• resell the Service without our written agreement

We may suspend a workspace that breaks these rules, after notice where we reasonably can, and we will remove unlawful content when we are required to.

6. Claude Code, API and AI features

API tokens and the laneway CLI let tools act on your board with the permissions you give the token. You are responsible for where you use your tokens. AI features produce suggestions that may be wrong; review them before you rely on them. AI credits reset each billing month and are not refundable.

7. Availability and support

We work to keep the Service available and back it up regularly, but we don't promise it will be uninterrupted. We announce planned maintenance in advance where we can. Support is by email at support@lanewayapp.com, and on WhatsApp for Growth and Business plans.

8. Confidentiality and data protection

Each of us will keep the other's non-public information confidential. We process personal data in Your Content on your behalf as described in our Privacy Policy, with the safeguards on our Security page.

9. Intellectual property

The Service, its software, design and the Laneway and Get Grahak names are ours. Apart from the right to use the Service under these terms, nothing transfers to you. If you send us feedback, we may use it without obligation.

10. Liability

To the extent the law allows:

• The Service is provided "as is", without warranties other than those in these terms.
• Neither of us is liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost profits, data or goodwill.
• Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited under Indian law.

11. Ending the agreement

You can stop using the Service and delete your workspace at any time. We may end these terms if you seriously breach them and don't fix it within 15 days of our notice. After termination, we keep data as our Privacy Policy describes, then delete it.

12. Changes

We may update these terms. For changes that matter, we'll email workspace owners at least 30 days before they apply; continuing to use the Service after that means you accept them.

13. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. We'll first try to resolve any dispute in good faith. If we can't, the courts at [legal jurisdiction] have exclusive jurisdiction.
